• Cursive: Names & date are handwritten in natural cursive (available in English). Cursive is usually partially repeated to fill the entire edge. The artist always tries to end it in a place that "makes sense." Due to varying word length and the unpredictable nature of handwriting, we cannot honor requests for specific ending text. Sometimes one or more Small starfish icons are used as spacers to fill in this art piece.

Each piece receives up to 5 layers of paint with a finishing touch of subtle black splatter before being kiln fired at 1835* for up to 9 hours, resulting in a smooth, glossy finish. 

This item is entirely handmade and is naturally imperfect. Crooked letters, differences in pottery dimension, paint color & darkness, image placement and composition are common characteristics found in each art piece of Pottery.
